Wyclef Jean's new album Carnival III: The fall and rise of a refugee drops on September 15th. This album is the third of the carnival series and will be released exactly twenty years after the first album dropped.

This will also be the former Fugees member's first full album in eight years. The carnival albums have always been about celebrating music and culture from all over the world and this next album does exactly that. With songs like "Fela Kuti" which was influenced by Nigerian music.

Wyclef stated the new release is going to be out of the box and genre bending, featuring a lot of new talent as well. Carnival III isn't just an album, it is a celebration of what he loves about music. It's about diversity, discovery, art for the sake of art and sharing this emotion and energy with others.

The album also features a lot of other artists such as: Emili Sandé, Lunch Money Lewis and electronic music duo The Knocks.
