At Sneakerology, sneakers are treated like the artwork at a museum. The 600-square-foot retail space in Sydney, Australia, was designed by Facet Studio to house 281 pairs of kicks in perfect order. No fussy tissue paper or messy boxes here. Each shoe occupies a numbered plywood cell on the wall. Shoppers can request the pair they like via one of two pedestal-mounted touchscreens facing the display. Easy right?

Butter is by far the craziest sneaker store we’ve ever come across so far. The store is a hybrid between a sneaker store, streetwear boutique shop and fried chicken champaign bar. Over the past few years, its become a trend to mix streetwear with food, like the KITH Boutique cereal bar, but no other store has taken it so far as to serve fried chicken in an actual shoe box. So if you’re craving a new pair of kicks as well as a bite to eat, Butter is the place for you.
