Energy bites are a great little snack for before or after a work out. They are super portable, healthy and easy to make in tons of different flavors. You can also make a big batch of various energy bites and freeze them over a longer period.

INGREDIENTS

Energy Bite Base
- 150 grams of Medjool dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 15 minutes
- 90 grams of rolled oats
- 45 grams of shredded coconut, unsweetened

You can add al sorts of ingredients to the base to make your own costume energy bites. Here are three delicious ways in which you can do so.

Peanut Butter Chocolate
- 150 grams of Medjool dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 15 minutes
- 90 grams of rolled oats
- 45 grams of shredded coconut, unsweetened
- 120 grams of peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 50 grams of peanuts

Orange Cranberry
- 150 grams of Medjool dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 15 minutes
- 90 grams of rolled oats
- 45 grams of shredded coconut, unsweetened
- 50 grams of dried cranberries, roughly chopped
- 1 orange, zested
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon

Lemon Blueberry
- 150 grams of Medjool dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 15 minutes
- 90 grams of rolled oats
- 45 grams of shredded coconut, unsweetened
- 75 grams of dried blueberries
- 1 lemon, zested

Instructions

1. Place all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until smooth.
2. Roll dough out into 1 inch balls.
3. Spread them out over a plate on a baking sheet and keep refrigerated for about an hour for them to set. If you make a big batch, you can also put the bites in a zipper bag and freeze them so you can also enjoy them later.
