The name pretty much says it all. The fuzzy teddy coat is definitely the coziest outerwear trend every season. As opposed to previous seasons where teddy coats were mostly seen in neutral colorways for a more wooly vibe, they are now featured in many pastel tones such as blushed pinks and purples. One of the main colors of this Fall/Winter season. Other than a pop of color, the fuzzy material also adds a nice layer of texture to your look.
Obviously, the trench coat is a classic Autumnal staple but it's always fun to experiment and reconstruct the classic silhouette. Last season deconstructed trench coats dominated the streetwear scene with its many layers and endless amount of straps. This season is all about the accentuated waist, resulting in the latest "cropped" trench trend. Layering a pair of high waisted trousers or a skirt with a cropped trench creates a very classic and Parisian look and feel.
Another classic wardrobe staple that has taken over the fashion scene is the boyfriend blazer. Pairing a more casual look with a classic blazer is a great example of effortlessly chic and can easily take you from day to night. If you really want to bring this look to the next level you can sinch in the blazer with a belt, once again accentuating the waist, creating a more interesting silhouette.
The nineties aren't going anywhere anytime too soon and many trends that defined the era are still popping up on the streetwear scene. For this Autumn/Winter season one of those trends is the old skool windbreaker. With its many pockets, bright colors and exaggerated logo's, this retro trend is definitely more out there.
Another classic nineties piece that is still kicking this season is none other than the puffer coat. "The bigger the better" seemed to be the theme last year, which is still the case this year while keeping the waist trend in mind. Adding a belt or belt bag adds some shape to the coat as well as more femininity.
