Your sneakers are calling out for a custom. With customized kicks, you will stand out of the crowd, with your own unique design. Here some tips and tricks that will help you to make the dopest sneakers out there.

Tips and tricks:

 - The first step and also one of the most important ones: Clean your sneaker with Leather preparer or Acetate (Nail polish remover), you can do this easily with a cotton ball. This will remove the clear coat that manufactures spray on the shoe to protect them, by removing this layer your artwork will bond directly to the leather instead of the coating.

- Time to protect the parts that will be left un-customized. Remove the laces and the insoles, use tape to protect the parts that you don’t want to paint on.

- Schedule your design with a pencil on your shoe, you can also decide to improvise, in that case just skip this step.

- You can use a thin pencil for the heavy detailing and white paint to mix darker colors into lighter colors for shading.

- Use layers: The first layer of paint, painted from side to side. The last layer you can paint up and down. Using thin layer coats will make sure the paint dries quickly and will ensure that the paint will not crack when worn.

- Remove the tape, put the laces and insoles back in, and you are ready to go.
