Amsterdam based label Daily Paper was founded in 2010, but it did not take them long to make their trademark in the streetwear scene. The brand has a strong identity with a cultural touch. Their products are of high-end quality but are fairly priced, which makes the brand even more popular. The eclectic materials and astonishing designs that were applied on each item create a timeless look.
To realise this new collection, Daily Paper teamed up with sports brand Puma once again. This time Daily paper went to Africa where they brought together a diverse collection, mostly consisting of colorblocked garments and sport inspired designs.
The Daily Paper X PUMA A/W 2017 collection pays obeisance to PUMA’s 20 years of commitment to Africa and African soccer. The African heritage of soccer team’s gear is an aspect that has been put forward into the styling of the collection.
Next to the newly launched collection, they also officially opened a soccer pitch. Their idea was to create facilities and supply gear for the Accra Senior Girls School in Ghana. Such a great action, right? The facilities will not only be available to the school, but to the entire community in Saccra. With this initiative they will try to develop sport amongst young soccer players to create awareness for future generations. The project was created in collaboration with the foundation ‘Right to Play’.
The Daily Paper X PUMA A/W collection will be available on September 16th at Daily Paper and PUMA stores.
