With Valentine’s day just around the corner, Adidas and Nike decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a new sneaker.

It’s not the first time that Adidas is celebrating the 14th of February. Last year they launched a Valentine’s Day Superstar. This time they celebrated Valentine’s Day with a new Stan Smith. This version of the classic tennis shoe  doesn’t have the perforated 3-stripes, that most of the full-grain leather Stan Smith’s are having. Instead of the 3-stripes, they have a heart-shaped cut on the sides with a glossy print underneath. You can get them here.

Nike created its Valentine-shoe with its classic Nike Air Foamposite One. Since the Nike Air Foamposite One first dropped in 1997, the design has been everywhere. From Penny Hardaway’s feet to college courts, and today as a iconic design that would fit your feet. Just like Eric Avar at that time had in mind: what if you could literally just dipped your foot in a liquid bath of material and it just sucked around your feet? The inspiration is history. On February 14th Nike gets us the Nike Air Foamposite One “Valentine’s Day/Floral” for $230 USD at selected Nike retailers and Nike.com.
