We are always trying to find new places for you to shop. This time we stopped by Hope Special Sizes in Amsterdam and spoke to store owner Angelo de Lannoy.

Angelo de Lannoy is forty-four years old and started working in special sizes after graduating college. In 2012 he opened his own store at the Prinsengracht, with the goal to be more fashionable, colorful and more trendy than other special sizes stores. He tells us about his job with passion and dedication. You can see he has put a lot of love and hard work into the store. Angelo looks at the fashion industry with a different vision, he thinks the fit of a garment is way more important than the name of the brand. His advice is to buy something without concessions. There is no rush and if you take your time you can always find what you are looking for. He also tells us about past challenges he faced, for example, the time he had to find and deliver a tux within two days. It’s clear that service and making sure you leave the store with a smile on your face is most important. If you have trouble finding something special like a tux or a suit or a pair of jeans with the right length, Hope might have you covered.

You can visit Hope Special Sizes at Prinsengracht 182, Amsterdam.
