The partnership between Olivia Oblanc and Adidas originals resulted in a unisex range, they deliver 15 impressive pieces that pull from Adidas sportswear-rooted heritage and Oblanca’s workwear leanings.

Up-coming design talent Oblanc re-designed Adidas classics. This collaboration is focussed on progress and improvement. Olivia is not afraid to push boundaries. The collection reworks the iconic Adicolor series for today.

Olivia Oblanc is born and raised in New Orleans. This hard-working woman is the founder of Øblanc, a gender fluid brand, with oversized proportions with sporty elements and workwear inspired designs. Also, she received the CFDA’s Geoffrey Beene Design Scholarship and was a finalist for the $10,000 Parsons x Kering Empowering Imagination Design Award during her time at Parsons.

This campaign puts a spotlight on young creatives – designed by Olivia Oblanc, supported by Kendall Jenner and Olivia’s photographer Thomas Bishop who captured the whole process. They want to bring new talents under attention.

The collection was inspired by vintage Adidas Originals garments, she combined these with reinterpreted workwear, which is where olive her brand Oblanc is all about. Words that would describe the collection best are workforce, utility, lots of hardware mixed with waterproof materials and sporty and vintage Adidas elements. Working together with Adidas was a dream coming true for Olivia. Adidas has always been on the top of her list since she started designing.
